Camisetas: Who you admire?

ecomproducts-img2-14593Steve Irwin simply known as “The Crocodile Hunter”, was an iconic Australian television personality, wildlife expert, and conservationist. I remember seeing him on TV and comptletely cracking up with laughter, astonishment and disbelief at some of the crazy things he used to do! Like dangling his baby son above a crocodile! Unfortunately he died in 2006 after his chest was fatally pierced by a stingray barb whilst filming in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.

O site também coloca neste caso um vídeo sobre o personagem para quem quiser saber mais do Steve Irwin.

About the Image: Text on t-shirt – Do what thy manhood bids thee do, from none but self expect applause; He noblest lives and noblest dies who makes and keeps his self-made laws.
Sir Richard Francis Burton

What did the Victorians ever do for us? Sir Richard Francis Burton (19 March 1821 – 20 October 1890). English explorer, translator, writer, soldier, orientalist, ethnologist, linguist, poet, hypnotist, fencer and diplomat.

Cut from old cloth, Sir Richard Francis Burton flew in the face of Victorian moral values, translating both ‘The book of One Thousand Nights and a Night’, more commonly known as The Arabian Nights. He also translated the Kama Sutra.
With more than 25 languages under his belt, his best known achievements include traveling to Mecca in disguise and the first European to discover Lake Tanganyika, one of the great lakes of Africa that includes Lake Victoria, the source of the Nile. The scar on his cheek was from a spear through the face, when his camp was attacked by Somali tribesman in 1854. He then went on to serve in the Crimea.

No site, eles convidam às pessoas a dizerem quem admiram e porque. Who you admire?
